This was the first trip back to the lake since my last visit in late September. The lake wasn't nearly as covered with algae as it had been that time, although the boat launch area was really indunated with a green lime. Heading out onto the lake, I decided to fish the east end and decided to troll a black carey special on a sinking fly line. About 30 minutes after launching, took a healthy strike from a 20 inch brown. After releasing the fish continued to troll the perimeter of the lake shore and through the course of the day caught 3 rainbows (9 to 14 inches) and 1 additional brown of 12 inches. About 4 PM decided to call it a day and continued trolling the shoreline back to the launch area when took another healthy strike. Once again I boated a 20 inch brown and then I happen to notice that it was the same area where I caught the first brown. Could this have been the same fish, twice in the same day?
