I got to the lake at 5:15am and there were already 7 rigs there. I started out using a Bloody Mary with the 0/0 Lurh Jesen dodger on the bottom clip and on the stacked I put the Dick Nite Chartreuse Hothead dodgers with the Zray spoon. About 6 I got my first fish on the spoon. It took 2 hours and many switches to get the next one about 8am on a Dick Nite Copper Hot Orange Tractor Tread with a Wannafish A Lure Pink Agitator. I watched Rob hook fish after fish he couldn’t get in, he even offered to let me use corn since he thinks that is what was catching them...no Rob you could catch fish in a mud puddle! Audience you know what I mean, there have been people you have fished by who catch more than you even if you do exactly the same thing. Although I was trolling past Rob when I got my second fish.
The fish were deeper to start off with this morning compared to yesterday but it was also brighter out. My new fish finder said that the top surface temp was 57 degrees. I fished mostly in 60-70 feet water and anywhere from 15-35 feet down on the rigger.
A Kokanee Kraze participant, Jean, stopped me and we talked. They had to cut the day short because their boat had taken on water. The plug was in. It was gushing out water! I hope you are blessed with the fish killing machine of your dreams!
