How thick is the ice on the pond. Locally here in NE Spokane we are at 4-5 inches. Looking good for the weekend. Thnx.

Looks like Buena Pond. No surprise the ice is that thick. Look what the Yakima River did in a week! Nice report!

How thick is the ice? I've always heard those ponds can be dangerous in terms of the ice conditions.

Not sure if I'm fishing them right though this is my first year ice fishing And I'm not quite sure how its done. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Like bat wise it what kind of jigs but anyways congrats on the catch.

Hey, Madfisher - try Jigmeister's jigs - they are killer during all seasons.

Ice fishing usually involves super-*super* light bites, and you need to really use sensitive equipment. Spring bobbers are usually necessary.

Thanks man I appreciate the info and where are you able to find a jig master I don't believe I have ever seen them. I have been using just the old crappie tubes with crappie nuggets with 0 success.
