Got to the west side park by 1:30, used sunrise power eggs 3ft lead with a free sliding egg weight With a bead stopper. Other rod same thing except I used chartreuse power bait instead. Casted both out, on rod #2 I was reeling in the slack when I noticed the line acting funny, so I set the hook Fish on!! And in the net, no sooner do I land it I see my other rod bouncing set the hook, and after a nice fight with impressive runs and arial launches I land a chunky 15" bow. Casted both out 10 min later rod 1 bounces, set hook fish on and landed. Then it slowed down 30 min later I land fish #4 then another 30 min after that fish #5 in the net I cleaned up and packed my gear and headed home with a big smile. Had a great time. No more room in the freezer so.it will be c and r for the rest of the season :)

Nice fish Jon! I haven't been out on Silver Lake in years. Good to see that it is still a good producing lake. Will you be using powerbait for your future C&R fishing? As you probabaly know, fish caught on powerbait count toward your keep limit regardless if they are kept or not. Thanks for the report!

I'll c and r my 5 then leave or I'll troll a naked wedding ring. Yes I know the regs.

Or throw a castmaster, or bust out my 6 weight and raft and troll a woolley bugger or troll Rapala with my ul telescopic set up., or whatever. But I definitely know the regs, as I am a seasoned trout angler.
