1st 30mins on the lake, conditions were quite nice on the water, but no bass. I then notice the wind picking up on the lake it stayed the entire time I was out on the water.
Anyways, I fished slow, fast, shallow and deep. Just couldn't get anything. 3 hrs into fishing, I FINALLY get a bass. Caught on a crank in about 4' of water. Just a dink SMB though. There was either a drainage system feeding into the lake or some sort of yard décor. Odd looking actually. Worked that area expecting more hits, but that was it.
A couple of docks away, I get a strike on a Hula in about 8' of water on the inside part. Decent 14-15" SMB and I see a small buddy chasing it too.
On that same dock, I casted towards the end of the dock and I guess that was where the buddy was because I got myself another dink.
Not to far away, I get 2 more dinks. So after no bass for 3 hrs. I get 4 in about 45 mins. Capped the day off with a Squaw.
The wind just made things too difficult. Can't feel anything. Can't position the boat correctly. My tinny just gets blown all over.
I also caught 2 nice stickfish. 1 looked like an antler and the other was long, maybe 8' or so.
