We had a great night at Loon last night for kokanee. Had our limit (20) by 10:45 PM. They were 11 to 12 inches, nice and fat. Fished the south end 32/34' feet deep with glow hooks baited with maggots and shoepeg corn. - Alan

Hi Buck, We usually get all set up by sundown with everything arranged and settled in before dark. Many times the first fish is around 9:30; then it just depends on the bite. Sometimes it really gets going 10 to 10:30. It got really hot around 10 on Friday pm we were catching doubles or had a fish on one after another. It doesn't take long to catch a limit if they are biting and both of you know how to catch them. I had my brother in law with me and we had a blast!

Hey downriggeral, did you try @ 40' at all? We did friday and we did get one at 15". Most at 12" this time. Same for me. A school would come in fishing would be hot a big fish or two would come in on the finder it would die. The big fish would leave the bite would pic up again. I think we had a mack chasing the fish from time to time not sure.

Hi Soberg, Didn't try 40'. You seem to be getting bigger ones out there. Will have to give it a try next trip.
