I arrived to the lake and started fishing around 6am with a few other boats on the lake. I stared out with the same small red home made spinner with the 50/50 dick night dodger. I was in about 50ft of water heading towards the north shore and the small Islands. I got my first rod down and fish on. It was a small cut just running scents with no bait rod down again. I was bringing in alot of cuts in search for the koks. I finally got the second rod down with a 50/50 skagit tackle sling blade with a different variation of a red home made spinner. I was running my line from 29-40ft deep in a range of 60-70ft of water. My trolling speed was between 1-1.4 mph. I started using corn with shrimp scent and tuna and started getting those Koks to bite. I had a few doubles and ended my day at 9am with 5 koks in the box. Not quite the size of the koks that we have been getting out of Stevens but average at 10-11 inches and one 13. This would bee a fun lake to take the kids if you have a boat. I think there were only 4 other boats fishing and a few skiers. There were a couple of guys that think they own the lake on the north side and at full speed blew by me 50ft away from me. All in all it was a great day of catching on that water. Tight lines all and be Safe.
