Well my 5yr old didnt want to get up supper early So left the house around 8 on the water by 950. I got the rods in the water more around 10 and within a few seconds it was fish on. I had her using moms Lamiglass red Kok rod which was a bit scary to her at first but once she got the hand of it she was a champ. She got the first 2 fish in the boat and there were nice sized around 13-15 inchers. We had many hook ups and lost alot. I reeled in a few fish here and there but lost them due to not getting my rod in time while helping my daughter. We had constant action with cut throats fighting threw them to pic out the kokanee. Around noon the bight died down with a bight here and there that was from cuts. I used corn and different scents to a tracked those pesky koks into biting. I started out with 50/50 dick nite dodger and a skagit tackle swing blade then used DN pink splater. I used home made red green glow and pink spinners. We ended our day with 3 cuts in the 17-18" range and smaller koks in the 11-12" range. We took a trip around the lake and call it quits around 230pm. What a fun day.

Good job on getting those kokanee dialed in. I understand the getting out early thing, I think my days of an early launch are over...
