pram on a wood cart to get in the water. Float tubes, pontoon boats and other hand carried boats are all used on the lake. Have a good time.

6/11/2013 7:23:00 AMIsn't that little place by the launch for get togethers owned by a new set of people now? I think that parking area is only for people that are there for the get togethers too because I remember my sister saying we couldn't park over there last time we went to Island Lake for the park when I was visiting.

6/12/2013 12:15:00 PMI have never heard that the parking in the lower lot is for the community center only. I have parked there during events and had no problem.
5 or 6 weeks ago someone placed cinder blocks in the water at the launch area. It looked to me like one of the homeowners may not like the public using the launch area. The cinder blocks are gone now but could be replaced , so keep you eyes open when you launch.
