Got to sawyer at noon. First time ever fishing this lake. Just bought a brand new alumacraft Jon 1448 and decked it out :) so had to try it out today. First fish about an hour in on jig, southeast shore (1.8 largemouth). Then again 5 min later hooked a smallie on same setup a out the same size as the largemouth. Tried hard fishin docks for the next couple hours and nothing! I threw spinnerbaits, crankbait, jig, and worm. Soooo frustrating cause I here this is how most catch em there. Grrrrr. Anyways, made my way down to the farthest south part of the lake and nabbed another largemouth on the trusty jig (2lbs). I tried fishing the somewhat long "bay/channel" thing on the southeast end. (It leads to some type of run-off) looked awesome but nothing :(. So all in all a decent day on the water but not the best time of day to be bassin. Any help on this lake? Thanks.
