The water is still quite low, so if you're fishing from the bank anywhere
there's a little more hiking to do than usual, along with some steep
drop-offs, so be careful out there! We fished on the south side of the lake
near the dam, using the slip bobber and shrimp/worm combination anywhere
from 6-15 feet down with some success, including a couple of nice kokanee
around 14". As sunset approached, several schools of kokanee were swarming
the all around us (possibly feeding on a hatch of some kind, I'm not
completely sure). It was an amazing thing to watch! We had a few hook-ups
during that, and one of the bigger fish was caught then.
