Had a late start because I had to dink around with my trailer lights. Got on the water around 1130. Anchored out north of Picnic Point, no luck. Headed to east of the seaplane launch before the shore turns north, caught one bow about 12". Moved over to south of picnic point, no luck. I thought about heading south to little American, but I've never fished down there (this was only my 3rd time on American). I also thought about heading to the very north end of the lake. But it was getting late so I packed up after getting nothing south of picnic point.

I like trout, kokes sound like fun but I don't have down riggers, but I got rainbows near my house. Really trying to target yellow perch at American.

Ling season starts in the sound on Wednesday, as long as the weather is good I think I might be out trying my luck with that for the next few weeks.

Hi SoDakboy - I finally gave up with the standard trailer lights and put on LED about 5 years ago....haven't touched them since! It's really nice to have them work when it's time to go fishin'.

In Lou of down-rigger's I use a deep six, seems to work pretty well.
