So I hit the water the evening of the 25th for a few hours and for the morning today. Temps yesterday hit 60.5 and today when I got out there they were down to 56 and 58.6 by the time I left around 1130. Yesterday managed to catch my first Tiger out of Tapps, just a little one 22" and that was it for yesterday. I did have a few short strikes on some topwater near docks. Today I lost one at the edge of the boat on a crank bait. The fish had to have been in maybe 5' of water...moving up for that spawn it looks like. That was the only bass. I did see around 4-5 Tigers cruising in about 10' of water or so. One of them probably went 35-40" and got me excited haha. I was throwing everything at it and he was not interested...finally I bumped him with a spinner bait and it spooked off. The others were pretty good size as well, I don't think any of them were under 30". I couldn't believe how many of them things I seen this morning! At one point I had two good sized ones circling the boat and following my lures. Nothing against Tigers but why couldn't they have been bass all around me haha. No matter what time on the water is far better than time at work!

Congrats on catching your first tiger. I found that the little ones actually put on a better fight than the big ones back when we were fishing Tapps. Good luck with the smallie fishing, I used to love catching them in Tapps, they were a lot of fun.
