Got off work at 3 and decided it was too nice of a day to do anything but fish. Got the boat and my gear packed and I was on the water a little after 4. I headed to the north end, anchored out in 23 feet of water, and put both my rods in the water in a hurry. One I had a ball of power bait sitting 3 feet or so off the bottom, the other I had it sitting about a foot off the bottom. Had my first fish on within 15 minutes - half hour, getting that one in the boat and taking it off the hook when my other rod starts going. Then I had 2 more fish within the next hour, right when I was getting relaxed with the latest edition of Washington-Oregon Hunt&Fish. Took me about another hour to get the last one. Great day fishing, beautiful weather, all fish were 13-14 inches.

Rough day! Thanks for stepping up for the rest of us!

Good to hear you were able to get something at the north end again. After the plant it seemed as if you could only get fish at the south end and only recent stockers. Yours seem to have been all hold-overs. Nice!

There was one guy I talked too fishing the south end, same basic setup as me, he was out there already when I got to the boat ramp and he decided to head in right when I got back. He said he caught 3. He was a little east of the half way point between the city park boat ramp and the wdfw boat ramp near the buoys.
