I arrived at Mineral around 0830 and was fishing by 0900. Once again, a bright beautiful day. Water temp 54-57 degrees. The lake was
not very crowded. I expected a lot more people. Fishing seemed pretty slow too. I noticed a lot of little fish taken all over the lake.
I only managed to boat one small stocker and did not even bother to keep it. Fishing Mineral is a lot tougher than it looks.
Seems like the only thing that works is pop gear followed with a worm. All of my other favorites tactics do not work on this lake.
Maybe the fishing will get better once the water comes up a couple of degrees.
