So today was not my average day like I have been reporting. It was pretty slow for me (we all have a bad day every once in a while, right?) I only got 1 Rainbow that was about 13.5 inches. The reason I rated the day a 3 is because I invited 2 friends and one of them got 2, and another guy on the dock next to me got his limit and 2 of them were 16 inches. It was a beautiful limit too. I like it when other people catch fish too. As long as fish were coming to the dock and going on a stringer it is a good day in my book. All of us that got fish were using the tried and true yellow power eggs, 6ft leader, egg sinker and scent. The difference was I was using garlic like normal, the guy who got two was using shrimp I believe and the guy who got his limit was using crappie scent in a spray bottle from Walmart! go figure. Well thats all I can think of right now if I forgot something just ask I will tell you.
I quit fishing early because a buddy of mine called and said he was in front of my house with a new boat he just bought, I think I will go for the first Koke of the year next week. Hope to have another report for you then.

After meeting you at the Sportmans show I now have a face to go with your reports. Looks like decent weather coming on Friday to go kokanee hunting!

MIke, were any of the fish Cutthroat? That has been a hot topic for you lately. Thought I'd throw that question out there, and check to see if your fish I.D. skills have sharpened...LOL!

Keep on sharing the reports, pictures, and catching techniques.

Nope, no cutts but i will be looking at all the fish cery closely. I am no expert on trout they are really not my passion like kokanee. Not that i am an expert on kokes but i know a lot more about them than trout. I used to like trout fishing a lot more before being introduced to the amazing kokanee! I hope i have not offended anyone with all the talk about the cutts i just like to be very informed on all things fishing and there seems to be a big grey area sorounding them. Good luck to all!

I am kinda embarrassed 1SG I have not even taken my boat out once for a couple months. It is in the water ready to go but it has been so cold I have just been fishing off the dock. This week got kinda busy and probably wont have time but I am shooting for next week to go out and I will let you know what the fishfinder shows. How did you do on Sunday?

Went Saturday and got blown around. No fish but I was fighting the wind so much I had to go to the south end.
