Well big buddy, in my option, LK Steilacoom is one of the best lakes to fish. But I have found fishing from a boat is MUCH better than fishing from the bridge. Head down to the water skiers buoys at the south end of the lake. Now you can fish any where along these bouyes but I have found that if you fish on the bottom at the first white buoy or go down to the 3rd green buoys again fishing on the bottom with 4lb test about 2 f t long using a #8 or 10 hook with surbert power bate or you can use 1.5 in long worm, green then orange power egg you will normally have your limits in about 2 to 4 hours and the size range from 12" to 22" and they are all fighters....lots of fun to catch.
I am using a fly rod with an open face real...8 lb test, 4lb leader and I always have fun. Go Get m.
