Fishingfool focusing on the trout fishing, (and AMX on sleeping), has really helped improve the small mouth fishing on Sammamish lately. :) . I crammed in the kayak with a buddy and fought the wind. It was a little choppy out there, but worth the effort. Got contestant hits from sunrise until about 9am. I picked up another 3lb smallie in about 30' of water, but not far too far off the outside weed line. Marking fish on drop offs in the same depths. Resoriting to my confidence drop shot worm, because I cant get them to pay attention to anything else I want to drag along to bottom. (Noticed the same trend fishing from shore on Lake Washington recently).


Still want to pull a 4lb+ out of here before the seasons over. *fingers crossed*. Tight lines.
