My father-in-law and I headed out late morning to try our luck trolling for rainbow. We found them schooled up on the east bank near the entrance to the narrows. We had our limit on the stringer in a couple of hours. The fish were pretty shallow maybe 10 to 15 feet down. We were trolling slow (approx. 1.5 mph) with a wedding ring and worm. Interesting that one pole had pop gear the other only the wedding ring and the poles wound up 5 and 5. Had a lot of fun, these babies really jump and put on a show. The largest were 16 inches.

Grrr! I spent the entire afternoon and evening trying to find them. Only managed to hook up 1 13"er for my troubles.

Although the pictured fish are at a distance, they appear to be Kokanee. Are they?

I would say they are Rainbows... they look just like all of the fish I've caught from the lake.
