Fished from Log Boom Park for perch in the morning. It was mostly cloudy with some sunshine. Also a bit chilly. Almost no wind.
I "docked" 11 small ones, mostly perch. I am also getting some other kind of fish but I have no idea what it is (see picture).
I saw a huge fish swimming under the dock, looked like a salmon. I tried to get it to bite the worm but it wasn't interested. Anyway it would have certainly broken my 6lb leader but couldn't resist trying.

Its definitely a squawfish. Bonk it and let the seagulls eat it, maybe you get lucky and an eagle or osprey om nom noms it. too bad there isn't still a bounty on those things. Don't feel bad though, my folks caught a 4 pounder in Lake Coeur D'Alene several years ago and my step dad filleted it and they ate it! bu tthey said it was yucky (surprise).

The large fish you saw swimming under the dock was most likely a carp. I have caught some 15+ pounders there
