I have never caught a fish here ever, maybe I'm doing something wrong on this lake but I've tried everything I know to try but still never had any luck. Oh well.

Though I don't know if its true, I was told the fair residence of the lake recently had it sprayed for weed control. It wouldn't surprise me. In the past they've did it at least three times that I know of. And every time the water quality and bass fishing went south for at least a year. Sad.

Wow, thanks for the info, that is to bad if that is the case.

Usually, the fall is when Ohop gives up big bass. I've caught three in the 8 lb range out of Ohop, with the biggest 8-12. There's a picture of it in the Forum Section. And every last one of them came in Sept or Oct. With my biggest coming on Oct 31st. One was on a buzzbait, and the other two on plastics. In the last week it was open last year while fishing with Ron Hobbs, I caught a 4-11 and a 6-3 on a split shot Senco. But if the spraying is true I won't be making the long drive there this fall.

I went there and checked into the weeds being sprayed theory. There is a sign up that says they sprayed at the end of July, that's to bad.
