Headed up to Baker Lake (Shannon Cr. campground) late Monday morning, got camp set up, waited for a rainstorm to pass by, had early dinner and launched boat. Rseas was certainly right about debris; it made fishing in the wind even more interesting. Some kayakers mentioned they'd seen fish in the cove next to the campground, so we started there. Marked a couple of fish but no luck. Moved over to Noisy Creek side of lake and tried there with no luck either. Didn't mark any fish.
Heading back to camp, fighting the wind and debris had one bite. That was all the action we saw for the evening. Were using a variety of dodgers of different sizes (except did not try the single 0 size Rseas mentioned) and a variety of lures tipped with cured shrimp (but all were double hooks). Talked to some guys also camping there who couldn't get out because of the wind. Had a great dinner (I didn't have to fix it) and lost at cards.
