Went out yesterday and caught 25 Blue Backs (tribal permit) the bite wasn't red hot but pretty steady and it took about 4 hours to catch my limit. I didn't use any weight and had my lake trolls back 80' trolling 1-1.2 mph corn and maggots. After I caught my kokanee I fished for pike for a couple hours and landed 2 five pounders and lost 2...good day of fishing.

What size are the kokanee in Coeur d'Alene this year. Lake trolls work pretty good? I have read a couple of articles saying lake trolls attract the Kokanee's predator fish. So that means the Kokanee are repelled from them. (Lake trolls, cow bells, pop gear). Sounds like this is not the case?

I catch more off lake trolls than I do off of the small dodgers and I see more people fishing with lake trolls on cd'a than the dodgers so it may be just a cd'a thing. The average size has been about 9 inchers.
