I did something today I have not done in a long time, I fished off the dock instead of taking the boat out. I have noticed that the trout have been hitting anything green so since I was actually targeting trout instead of Kokanee today I used a worm with a green gulp maggot to tip it. I was also using a slip bobber and had it set to 6 feet. I was using mike's glow shrimp lunker lotion. With this set up I had my first fish no joke as soon as the bobber hit the water! I soon after had to more all probably within 10 minutes. It took about 1.5 hours to get the limit of 5. I do not usually fish with a bobber so I am not used to setting the hook. Lost 5 got 5, not bad for 1.5 hours. Fishing was fun and fast which is why I gave it a 5, also the weather was great today. I have a feeling with the way the Koke bite is going I will be fishing for a lot more trout this year. About 82,000 trout put into American this year, it almost is too easy. Hope to see you all out on the lake.

They planted 10,000 more 1/2 pound trout the other day. 1200 triploid, too.

Yeah I know about the plants I keep a real close watch on that kinda stuff, especially since we release fish in the lake also. Bows are doing awesome if we could just get the Kokes up and going we would be great!
