Had a great day of fishing on Roofus Woods!! a friend of mine came down from Spokane with his 5 year old daughter. With the weather not being very agreeable, we decided to fish for a little while.

I launched at Seatons Grove boat launch at about noon. The weather was just awful, wind, rain, hail!, and a little glimer of sun at times, just enought to tease us. I motored down stream about a 1/2 mile, and started fishing. We fished the east side shore line, with bottom bouncers with spinners. After about 3 hours, we caught just over 12 Walleye, and kept our limit. Some fish we caught had some real size to them, with a lot of females still holding eggs, ( they were all released). The walleye averaged around 19-22 inches, with one nice one over 26 inches! my buddys daughter is offically spoiled! I think she thinks that's how fishing always is!!!

Jigging has been working really well lately as well, stay out of the current, find a nice cove, and experiment. There are real nice Walleye in Roofus, good luck, and be safe!
