Fished Lake Chelan this morning, hit a spot across wapato point to go for some Burbot(Fresh water Ling) we tried homemade glow jigs with herring strips as bait at about 200ft depths right off the bottom, didnt get any but what we did find was a school of average sized Mackinaw. Jigged up about 5 with Buzz Bombers and scent. Then we decided to try for some bigger fish, so we trolled around Rocky Point/Miniapolis Beach. Didn't even get a bite, tried Ace high Fly and even plugs didn't work. But the real question is.. WHERE ARE THE BURBOT AND HOW DO I CATCH THEM? If you have any Info on Burbot in Lake Chelan in regards to where they would be this time of year and how I would get one of these unique species to bite, than please Email me at (SeanPitts70@Rocketmail.com). Thanks Alot! Tight lines to all and be safe!!
