The bite was definitely slower today than yesterday but I just managed to get my limit of 10" bows and cutts. The 0000 dodger and worm seemed to work the best today. Spoons, spinners and flatfish had way fewer bumps than yesterday. It felt a bit cooler today, hands got numb towards the evening. LOL That's an odd feeling as warmth returned to the fingers on the drive home, everything I touched felt like a jab of electricity. LOL The eagle flew around at the lake, hauling material to shore up it's nest. I was surprised it didn't grab a white cat that was out in the open, maybe when there is fewer fish. I think I saw an osprey as well but didn't have my glasses due to the rain. :) Fish are still jumping and rising in all areas of the lake. If you can find what their biting, you'll do well. As I was leaving a scout troop pulled up and launched a bunch of canoes, I was glad to see that, the next generation headed in the right direction.
Tight lines!
