This report coincides with muskyhunter's report for Mayfield May 19th
Not sure where to begin but here goes. After stopping at Fish Country, got on the water around 9AM. Started seeing some fish shortly thereafter. muskyhunter got the first on a jig follwed by many more on a Ducktail Lures bucktail.
I eventually got two small tigers, one on the same bucktail and another on a spinnerbait. Also missed a tiger on Salmo Pike crankbait. Between the two of us,we put 8 tigers in the boat and missed a few more. Loads of fish seen and moved. The fish were pretty active. muskyhunter caught some biggies, largest musky was 44.5. I was able to apply my medic skills on a smaller tiger that had hooks near its gills. She was released and swam away very healthy.
My apologies on this report,I know I'm forgetting tons of information. I'm tired, sore and sunburned but extra thanks to musky hunter for getting me out. Its been a hectic month but nice to finally hook up on some muskies. An epic day for sure. Water temps ranged from 51-60
