After wrapping up day, thought I would hit Blackman's via my float-tube. I was geared up w/ a 4wt Fennewick Fly Rod Floating line/assorted wooley-buggers, Also had my UL-4'6" rod using a variety of dodger-worm, dodger wedding ring, plain wedding ring, still-fished, trolled, and even threw some plugs into the lily-pads on the north-end. Eventually even tried still-PowerBait dough. About the only action was right near dusk and my wooleybugger fly was starting to get hits. While on the lake, I spoke to a variety of shore AND boat people. Only one shore-guy produced. I didn't consider a perch and a few trout playing w/ my fly as much. The weather was awesome/people having fun, just not jack for fish. Oh, finally warm enough to NOT have to wear chest-waders...thats a plus! Good luck to ya all!
