Fished Moses Lake this weekend. The sun was shining hot, and there weren't very many boats on the water. We headed up north a bit past Cascade Marina at about 7:30am. I started off trolling a blue/silver squid 'Walleye Killer' with a threaded worm in 12 ft. of water. At 10:20am I landed a beautiful 17in Walleye. Shortly after, my girlfriend's dad landed two more Walleye on a green/yellow popper with a threaded worm, and a green squid 'Walleye Killer' with a threaded worm. One measuring 19in, and the other about 16in. We were happy, but that would be all the fish we would catch for the day. Saturday turned out to be a mighty fine day on Moses Lake
Sunday morning we woke with high hopes. We headed up to the spot we fished Saturday around 8 o'clock. The waters were quiet all morning. We didn't see one fish caught. It was time to go back to the house to fish for some bass in the shallows, and have Mother's day Walleye dinner. After a delicious dinner, we decided to take one last sunset troll before we'd head over the mountains. At about 8 o'clock pm in about 12 ft of water my girlfriend lands a 19in Walleye on a pink squid 'Walleye Killer' with a threaded worm. The fish put up a nice fight. A perfect way to end the weekend! Good luck on the water. Thanks for reading. Tight Lines. JN
