Started at dawn on the Hwy. 12 end of the Mossyrock Dam. Wind blowing pretty hard and the boys had a hard time keeping their bobber/worm/shrimp in front of them. Looked more like drifting rather than still fishing. I got a nice bite on my first cast with Kastmaster and landed a nice 14" silver on the second. Thought things would continue, but as more anglers showed up it became impossible to mix casting with high-speed bobber fishing. Saw one still fisher manage a silver...by the tail. We gave up around 7 and tried the south end of the dam. Wind even worse, probably why we were alone. Tried Swafford for about an hour with no luck, then home to Mother's Day events. Nice morning in the sun, and first time out this spring. One fish in the smoker is better than none.....
