Had and extra day off on Friday. So I took a couple of buddies from work over the pass for some Riffe action. We launched around 9:30 or so at the Taidnapam launch.Wind was calm, but picked up a little in the afternoon. There was a bit of debris floating in the launch, which wasnt a problem going out ,but trailering the boat at the end of the day was a totally different story..We stayed pretty close to the launch only going up the lake a quarter of a mile or so.Fish were jumping all over and the action was spotty with a few periods where they bit like mad.Green worm harnesses with gulp maggots and night crawlers behind a flasher,or Daiwa Dr Minnows in either prism shad or rainbow trout worked 12-15 ft down off downrigger. We ended up with 3 limits of 12-16 inch silvers for our efforts.
