Hit the lake after work about 7:00pm and fished until dusk. Launched my float tube from the boat launch. Beautiful evening, calm, about 50 degrees, partly cloudy. Cast, retrieved, and troll small green and black woolly buggers with a 5 weight intermediate sinking line. Immediatly upon launching the planted trout were hitting the fly. Had a number a bumps in the first few minutes. Primariliy fished from about 50 feet south to the north shallow end. I know the fish will go deep to the south end as they acclimate and the weather warms and water warm up but right now its perfect! Had about 20 bumps, played about 10 and hand-released six in about an hour and a half. Nice pleasant night.

What's your experience on Bosworth with hold-over trout? Are there any in there? Also, have you fished it for large mouth bass at all?

Hi Quadfather, I've fished Bosworth with this method many years, often in the spring and then the fall, but I have not caught hold-over trout in the areas where I can reach with my float tube. Also, I have not fished it for large mouth bass.
