There were two of us for today. After sleeping in we got to the lake and launched, immediately seeing Osprey circling over the end of the lake marked as hot spot 1. We headed there and started catching fish by trolling pop gear or dodgers with wedding ring or single hook with worms. It was quite an experience as the weather alternately dumped huge amounts of rain (thanks to my wife for the bimini top!) with wind and then brief respites with the faint promise of sun. All this time we were watching the Osprey (and its mate) circle and dive for fish. We stayed in that same area for most of our stay, as it was partly protected from the wind, but then moved out and away, just to try a different spot. Even though more exposed to the elements, we easily caught fish there, too. Just after loading the boat, the sun came out.
