Fished from about 1pm till 6pm and landed 15 lost about the same because I forgot my net, If you are ever looking for a challenge go kokanee fishing without a net. Anyway we worked through that challenge and had a great time, most of the fish we caught flat lined behind the boat about 65ft, I was able to catch a few later in the day on the down riggers at 11 and 18 feet. I cannot explain why but I noticed that if I was in water shallower than 90ft I did not get bit, the speed was also key with the wind blowing I was using my drift socks to help keep the boat straight and my GPS would jump from about 1.2-1.3 and I would speed up to 1.3-1.4 and would get bit. The tackle I used was UV hoochies and small weeding ring spinners tipped with Berkley Maggots and Pautske Corn, after about the first hour I went to all Maggots.

Awesome catch! I am waiting for the Kokes to start biting on American. I know what you mean about the net, done that many times! I am going to give stevens a try on the 19th, hope my boat is full of Kokes like yours!

i too fished stevens fri. morn till about 10ish wasnt marking many fish, im going to have to try the afternoon bite, i live 3 min. from wyatt park. anyway went looking for perch for couple hrs. found them in the cove 2 of us 80 plus perch. all in 10 feet of water. side note when we decided to go for perch i was at the west end of bubbler, and started marking fish, however we had made the decision to go for perch, in hinded sight i recall over the years that if the wind coming out of the south the fish stack up in the north end. by the way those r very nice FAT kokes
