Little fish at 1.82 lbs.but was fun. The jig was up and down in relation to the fish's mouth, the hook towards the bottom jaw and pointing outwards. I kept poking my finger on the hook when I tried to lip the fish. Lifted the fish into the boat by the rod and line. Twisted the hook with the needle nose pliers to unjam the line tie, and the jig fell out. It wasn't even hooked into the fish, just jammed in there.
Had a second bite, but not hooked. A third bite resulted in a breakoff. All 3 in an area about 30 feet by 10 feet. 7-8 foot of water. Water temps of 52 to 54 degrees.
