We stayed at the Lind Coulee area in a Rv from the 2nd to the 7th. On the 2nd we got there in the afternoon and set camp up and went out. We got 4 nice Walleye. The next two days were poor fishing, one walleye each day. On the 5th we got nothing and the weather was horrible. Ice rain and hail and cold wind. On the 6th we got 3 walleye, one was 21 inches. Water temp was 45-47 degrees which is farily cold compared to this time last year. I think the poor fishing is from this winter being so cold for so long and so the walleye are behind in their spawning cycle.

We mainly used Chartreuse spoons but I put a copper smile blade with copper beads on a slow death hook and caught 3 walleye with it.

thanks for the report kjtemp, the cooler water temps seem to be affecting several species of fish, but warmer temps is just around the corner. good luck on your future ventures
