4/8/2012 6:42:00 AMthanks for the report Toni- I listened to the fishing show yesterday on the radio and they had one of the guides on there that said he has been fishing Merwin with some success and running hardly any weight, maybe a half ounce and sometimes just letting the weight of the flasher/dodger get it just below the surface. He said he leaves the downriggers at home until towards the middle and end of May as these fish are feeding near the surface. The ones we mark 20 to 30 feet down probably won't bite. Also running 80 to 100 feet behind the boat. It won't be long now! I was lucky to get that big rainbow last week! hope to see you out there some day!

4/8/2012 6:46:00 PMThanks for the report, I fished American Lake all day Saturday and Sunday with no luck. I can't wait till the water gets warmer and the kok bite gets good!!!
