3/25/2012 8:29:00 PMYup. Acually it's plus the depth that the transducer is as it's on the bottom of the electric motor, so most likely closer to 3.5 feet, or even 4 feet. Some day I'll have to measure just how far below water the motor is. :-)
At this time of year there are fish cruising thinking about spawning, and they still have to eat. Later they will be cruising, and fixating on spawning, THAT is when it's REALLY hard to get the cruisers to bite.

3/30/2012 9:18:00 AMHey Elijah, actually Sawyer is a nice lake to fish with an electic motor. There is a speed limit on the lake in the morning and evening. And I've caught some nice smallies very close to the boat launch. By the way, there is a $5.00 charge to launch.

3/30/2012 10:46:00 AMIf you fish the lake LOTS you can get a parking pass for the year. Costs $60. I've saved over a hundred dollars each year for the past 5 years because of having a pass. :-) Passes can be gotten at the Black Diamond City Hall.
