Gusting winds from the south made it hard to control the boat but I had a trouble free first trip of the season. Most of the fish I marked were on the north shore in 10-12 feet of water. I trolled thru them with black wooly bugger, muddle minnow,Roosevelt lake flies with worm and maggots--no hits. Went to the southwest shore to get out of the wind trolling split rapalas on a leaded line at fish about 15' below-nada. I marked very few fish on the south end. Had to return when my feet froze. Note to self - wear warmer socks. Don't forget your gloves,it's cold out there.
