2/28/2012 10:19:00 PMLooks like your Shorthair is as excited about fishing as mine are. If you tossed it for a game of fetch, would you get it back? Two of my three dogs would bring it back. The other one would probably take a big ol' shark bite out of it. Were many trout caught? Where was plan "B" for accommodations........Leavenworth or a house on Lake Wenatchee?

2/29/2012 7:29:00 AMWDFW were checking licenses and 2 pole permits. A guy on Saturday escaped without being caught as he had 6 poles out! Yea, slight violation... 2 nice trout were caught and the perch were ok in size, some smaller, some fatter. Very tasty tho. The 59er diner told us we had a "cooking" cabin, but the snafu had us placed in a cabin with a microwave. So that is why they offered to cook it up. Even with the snafu, the people/staff at the 59er diner were very friendly and accomadating. We'd go back in a heartbeat. And lastly, no, the shorthair would only sniff the fish and then get all excited. She was wiped out by the end of the day!
