Awesome catch! What a nice surprise to take home for a few dinners! What color plastics were you using? How deep of water? Was thinking about hitting one last bass-lake or two for season.

you caught a pike and a largemouth from shore at green lake on the 18th? wow that's really hard to believe. the weather looks really nice in the picture with that pike and we didn't exactly have any days like that this november.

and definitely nobody was wearing short sleeve shirts out on nov 18th when the air temp was in the 40's. sorry, not trying to be a jerk but this entire report reeks of lies. the water temp was also way too cold for any bass to be caught in the shallows, from shore where it doesn't even get to 20 feet within casting distance.

Yup, if that toothy critter was caught at Green Lake it was certainly earlier in the year. Not only short sleeved shirt, but all the leaves in the background are nice and green. I like to give a guy the benefit of the doubt....maybe just a late post.

Wow, if this one gets seen by the anti pike people it's really going to cause a stir. I hate to get on here and say this post is not completely truthfull but it sure looks that way. I'm from the east side of the state but taking the comments into consideration from Elijah who seems to fish this lake quite often, and seeing the dshort sleeves and green leaves in the photo, I think it's a phoney! If that fish was put in that lake by a "Bucket Biologist" it traveled a long way in a live well.

Look at the leaves in the trees from this report on the very same lake the day after you "caught your Pike" http://washingtonlakes.com/ReportComment.aspx?id=61810&lid=446&t=1

You guys are "REELY" mean....but seriously, let's stop. I think the point has been made and the guy is aware of what he's done. Let's move on.

Lord, appreciate your sympathy. But I think the guy knew whether the post was false or not when it was made. Hopefully it was a mishap and he will correct it.

i agree with motoboat. he even posted the report date as nov 18th, and the report was posted to the site on the 26th. he also specifies "fall bass fishing" so it wasn't a "late report"
