I have been bass fishing Cassidy almost daily for the past week...always catching fish, but no real big ones. Sometimes I just fish the launch area, other times I've gone out in my boat. The largemouth bite has been surprisingly consistant, but I hadn't connected with a real good one for awhile - until Saturday. I have been dead sticking my super soft hand poured worms around the pads/logs/docks and catching the 10-13 inch scrappy Cassidy "ghetto" largies - and finally caught (and released) another 5 pounder. I've actually been a little disappointed with the fall bite here for BIG ones, but it was nice to grip a PIG today. FYI: I talked to a few fishermen that have been getting a lot of crappie here too. Seems that something always is biting at Cassidy.
