Grampa and grama said they'd watch the kids tell noon, so BAM! the boat was in the water at 7am. hit my first spot started around 15 foot huckin ratltraps and jerkbaits... nuthin... headed out to deeper water, found um at 25'. my wife caught the first one at 8:05 4inch lizard, slowly they moved out too 35', we brought in a total of 7 keepers from 8am too 11am with in a 75 yard stretch. we both had multiple hooks throwin and line breaks lol i was determind to use 6lb leader and look where in got me! lost about 10 fish too that! oh well, i had a blast and my lady loves fishin for smallies now!!! awesome mourning!!!

6 lb leader is plenty strong if your drag is set properly. good job on the catching though, nice smallies :)

Great going. Yup, can't be horsing them with 6#, loose drag in that open water and have fun.

Did you launch at All York Park? And if so, was the pay booth open or closed? Nice smallies!
