9/21/2011 10:43:00 PMMy wife works on lake union and when I pick her up I always look at the water under her building. I've seen some nice sized largies and a couple good smallies sharking through under the boats. Haven't fished the ship canal since last year though.

9/22/2011 9:33:00 AMWhat did you use to catch that troll?! hehe. I fish this area quite frequently and yes, there are some nice size smallies in there. Caught a nice 2lber yesterday morning. They just seem harder to get than the abundant of dinks in there so you have to stay persistant and patient. Good luck!

9/22/2011 9:34:00 AMAlso, don't be afraid to move up and down the Burke Gillman trail if you arent getting any bites in any one area. If it's slow, keep moving.
