Got back to Billy Clapp in hopes of catching some walleye big enough to keep. Caught 12 walleye but the biggest was only 14". Didn't find the smallmouth activity like last week (maybe due to the slightly cooler temp) but caught a few smallies in the rocks. Big bass of this trip were a 3 pounder and a 2 pounder. Once again an enjoyable trip but would have liked to have caught a few walleye big enough to keep.

What is the access like at BC? Is there only one launch? How close is any legal camping - the trip from Spokane is a long one from what I see. LOL

There is the one nice launch at the south end (paved and with a nice dock) and as far as I know that is the only boat access. The closest camping would probably be Soap Lake which is a little more than 10 miles from the launch. We make the trip from Omak which takes about 2 hours. The launch can get really busy, especially on weekends, with a lot of fishing boats, pleasure boaters and swimmers alike and parking at the launch is limited.

Coulee City has a camp ground and is pretty close as well....
