Acted as a guide this morning from 8am-Noon. Took a father and son out. Used a silver blade and red beads on one rod and a black blade and green beads on the other. Was the youngsters first time out and dad hadn't been out since he was a youngster. Dad lost 2 and son lost 5 but did catch his first trout. Big grin for the boy. Went out myself from 1-4:30 boated 4 caught the first 2 on a silver and red and the other 2 on black and green. Silver and red worked early when the water was colder and caught cutts, black and green when water warmed up and caught rainbows. Acted as a guide later on for the evening fish from 7:30-9pm. He was using a leech pattern in a maroon color and boated 2 cutts. Water temp started out at 53 degrees and warmed up to 58 degrees. I put a full day in on the lake, real nice day and it was fun to watch others get into fish. Enjoyed myself a great deal today.
