Took my son and my father out for a weekend of Tiger hunting. It was great to have three generations fishing together. We started out at Newman Lk on Friday, got to the lake about 930 and had the first follow just shortly after 10. It is an awesome sight to see that large fish following your bait. Figure 8 at the boat and actually hit the fish with my pole oops and away it went. Not two casts later had one on fought it for a short bit and off it came. Now I normally re-tie after a fight like that but just brain farted ( big mistake) cuz not three casts later busted another and snap went the line. So anyway my dad got his first tiger there nothing large but still great plus we had many more follows.

On saturday we hit Silver Lk on the way back home. Now this was a great decision within 15 mins my son who fishes but not a lot got into his first Tiger after a fight we landed it and man was he excited. Went 40" and was very heavy. Let it go and was doing quite well upon release. About 20 mins later I hooked into one had it to the boat twice was about the same size as my sons but failed to get it in the net. Ended the day with those and several other hook ups and follows. A great weekend and memories never forgotten.
