Hit Spanaway for the first time ever with Ryan. I gotta say, I really like this lake! Reminds me of American, only smaller. We threw a whole mess of baits all day long from dropshot to frogs. Switched between targeting smallies and largies while combating the nonstop rock bass onslaught! Ended up with three smallmouth and five largemouth in the boat. Smallies were caught dropshotting gulp alive minnows, along with three largies. Two more largies were caught off a senko under a dock and some good ol pad punchin. I may have to get a season launch ticket for next year, I really do like this lake. Oh yeah, and it was my first mixed bag of the day... all dinks but still a good time! Glad to finally get out and fish with Ryan for the first time since that dark day on Silver Lake in March! Tight lines!
