Forced meeself to go fishing. Yesterday, or was that Monday? Or both days? I went back to bed, not so this morning.

Caught a few. Even got 3 smallies and 1 largie on a jitterbug and one largie on a combination of jitterbug and tube. Try that on for size. :-)

Other fish on spinnerbait, tube, crankbait.

Water temp of 72.

The only places you can fish from shore is the park by the boat launch = deep water. And the 'park' at the south end = shallow water.

For shallow water use topwater, 1 - 2 foot diving cranks to stay above/at the weeds. Plastic worms and such with and without weight. Be ready to walk and swim out to get the lure back out of the weeds.

Deep water use deep diving cranks, weighted worms, dropshot, carolina rig, jigs, bobber and worm on a hook.

Sounds like you need sleep more than fishing. Did I say that? Never mind. Go fishing!!!!
Nice advice to KF.
I'd add Senko freestyle fished reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaallll slow. Morning and near dusk.

They used to have a Jitterbug with a trailer, I think I still have one. Major difference: You caught something on it.

Yup, I have one of those old jitterbugs with a trailer. It's in my 'old lure' box. Might have to go back to my antique lures. Ya know, the ones that aren't as old as I am. :-)
